Gov Malombe and Hon. Mark Ndingo Deliver Sustainable Water Project to Transform Yatta-Kwavonza Ward

The County Government of Kitui has established a sump-well at River Mwitasyano as part of the Mwitasyano-Kwa Kilui-Matulani Water Supply Project in Yatta-Kwavonza Ward, Kitui Rural Sub-County.

This transformative project, championed by Governor Dr. Julius Malombe in collaboration with the area Member of County Assembly, Hon. Mark Ndingo, is a testament to their commitment to improving the livelihoods of the local community.

Hon. Ndingo will be remembered for his close partnership with the Governor in driving development and addressing water scarcity in the region, the TCD DIGITAL Reports.

The project is set to benefit hundreds of residents in Ngakaani, Kwa Ivumbu, Kwa Kilui, Matulani, Mamole, Kwa Kilya, and Kingaatani areas.

Notably, this initiative is designed to be sustainable, as the water source is a sump-well reinforced by a subsurface dam. This ensures a reliable and long-term solution to the water challenges faced by the community.
