Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe today hosted a delegation from the Africa Inland Church (AIC) leadership at his office, underscoring the critical role faith-based organizations play in the county’s development.
During the courtesy call, the Governor lauded the clergy for their significant contributions to education and healthcare services in Kitui County, highlighting how faith organizations continue to uplift communities through impactful investments.“AIC has been a valuable partner in fostering growth and improving livelihoods in our county.
Your commitment to providing access to quality education and healthcare is deeply appreciated,” said Governor Malombe.The AIC delegation included Bishop Timothy Kituo of AIC Mwingi Area, Bishop Joseph Masumba, and Rev. Titus Masya, representing Bishop Joseph Muendo of AIC Kitui Township.
County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) Fredrick Kimanga, Ruth Koki, Phoebe Mutemi, Joyce Titus, and Engineer Itiko also attended the meeting, alongside Chief Officers Pauline Mwalali and Evans Mutemi.
The leaders discussed ways to enhance collaboration between the county government and AIC in delivering key services to the people of Kitui. Governor Malombe reiterated his administration’s commitment to working closely with faith-based organizations to achieve shared goals.
