Hon. Boniface Mutisya Musambi, the Director of Coordination at State House and Presidential Moderator for State Functions, has revealed his impactful 2024 Development Scorecard, highlighting key initiatives that have significantly benefited the youth and professionals in Kitui County.
Investing in Youth Education and Vocational Training
Hon. Musambi has been at the forefront of promoting access to quality education and vocational training for Kitui County residents. He successfully facilitated the enrollment of 800 youth from Kitui Central into Chuka Technical and Vocational College, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in a competitive job market.
Facilitating Paid Internship Opportunities
Understanding the importance of hands-on experience, Hon. Musambi connected 16 youths from Kitui Central to paid internships under the Public Service Commission (PSC) for 2023-2024. Building on this achievement, he secured internships for another 36 youths across Kitui County for 2024-2025, ensuring continued opportunities for career growth and financial support.
Supporting Needy Students
In his commitment to education equity, Hon. Musambi facilitated a full scholarship for a deserving needy student from Kitui Central. The scholarship covers the student’s secondary education at Kitui High School, ensuring uninterrupted access to quality education.
Beyond youth empowerment, Hon. Musambi has played a pivotal role in supporting over 100 professionals to get their careers back on track. This initiative underscores his dedication to enhancing the livelihoods of Kitui County residents across different sectors.
