Hon. Dr. Makali Mulu, PhD, MP for Kitui Central,_ marked Mashujaa Day with a series of events across Kitui County, celebrating the contributions of heroes and heroines in the community.
The day began at the Mashujaa Day celebrations in Kitui West constituency, held at Useani location . The event, led by Kitui West Subcounty Deputy Commissioner Madam Elizabeth Atemi , was not only a tribute to local heroes but also a momentous occasion for the community, featuring the inauguration ceremony of new chief Bwana Kyaiko.
Following this, Dr. Makali Mulu joined the Mashujaa celebrations in Vinda, Miambani Ward, alongside Kitui Central Deputy County Commissioner Madam Dorcas Rono and the host, MCA Hon. Alex Nganga. The gathering emphasized unity and remembrance as residents honored their local legends.
Later in the day, Dr. Makali Mulu participated in the Sisters for Sisters meeting, an assembly of Muslim women, which took place at the Inter-County Hotel in Kitui town. This gathering fostered community spirit and collaboration among local women, further highlighting the importance of inclusivity in community celebrations.
