Thousands gathered at Ilengi in Athi Ward, Kitui South, to bid farewell to the late Archbishop Julius Nyerere, a beloved clergy member whose impactful life touched many. Born on March 13, 1972, Archbishop Nyerere passed away on December 1, 2024, at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Former Cabinet Secretary Hon. Penina Malonza was among the mourners, offering her heartfelt condolences and celebrating his spiritual legacy.
In a message of hope, Psalm 23:4 was shared: “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Archbishop Nyerere leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and community service.
