The Wiper party is considered a strong party in the Ukambani region, this is the Party secured representation across all eight constituencies in Kitui County, demonstrating its influence in the region.
Below is a breakdown of the party’s performance in 40 Wards seats
Kitui Central: Wiper clinched 2 out of 6 MCA seats, in the constituency where Dr. Makali Mulu hails.
Kitui West: No MCA seats were won out of 4 wards, despite being Senator Enoch Wambua’s home turf.
Kitui East: Wiper won 2 out of 6 MCA seats.
Kitui South: The party managed 1 MCA out of 6 wards.
Kitui Rural: Wiper secured 1 out of 4 MCA positions.
Mwingi Central: 2 out of 6 MCA seats were won, the constituency represented by MP Gideon Mulyungi.
Mqwingi West: Wiper won 3 out of 4 MCA positions, home to MP Charles Nguna.
Mwingi North: Wiper dominated with 3 out of 5 MCA seats in Kalonzo Musyoka’s stronghold.
Despite mixed results, the Wiper Party has shown a resilient presence in Kitui, especially in Mwingi regions where it captured a majority of seats.
