Born in the heart of the Mui Basin and renowned for his integrity, leadership skills, and financial expertise, Makau has become a beacon of hope for residents disillusioned by the current leadership.

Residents have expressed frustration with the current MP, Gideon Mulyungi, whom they accuse of divisive leadership and failing to unite the constituency. Mulyungi’s style of leadership, described as “Pharaoh-like,” has reportedly alienated him from other leaders in Kitui County, leaving him politically isolated.

Makau, a close ally of Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, is said to be gaining significant traction among the electorate.
