Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai has initiated the drilling of a borehole at Kwa Nzamba Kitonga Medical Training College (KMTC) in Mutitu. The project, conducted by the National Irrigation Authority, aims to ensure a steady water supply to the institution.
“We are working on eliminating pit latrines in Ndooa town and supplying enough water to Nzamba Kitonga KMTC,” MP Mbai announced during the launch of the drilling operations.
This initiative is expected to significantly improve sanitary conditions in Ndooa town and enhance the quality of life for the students and staff at the medical training college. MP Mbai expressed his gratitude, stating, “Glory be to the Lord,” acknowledging the progress being made in the community.
The borehole project marks a significant step towards sustainable development in Kitui East, addressing critical water supply issues and contributing to better health and hygiene in the region.
