The ongoing development initiatives spearheaded by Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Makau Malombe have been met with widespread approval across the county, resonating with both supporters and former skeptics alike.
A prime example of this progress is the completion of the Kakithya Dispensary in Kanziko Ward. The project, which had been stalled since 2016, was finally brought to fruition under Governor Malombe’s administration.
Speaking to the press on Monday morning, Kanziko Ward MCA Hon. Kyalo Kimuli expressed deep gratitude towards Governor Malombe, lauding him for the swift and effective completion of the dispensary. Kimuli emphasized the urgent need for the Ministry of Health to operationalize the facility so that local residents, who have been traveling over 20 kilometers to access healthcare services, can benefit from the new infrastructure.
This dispensary is just one example of the escalating infrastructural development seen across Kitui County. Since assuming office, Governor Malombe has focused on accelerating various stalled and new projects, ensuring that development reaches even the most remote villages.
His efforts have not only revitalized critical infrastructure but also inspired a sense of hope and optimism among the county’s residents.
Governor Malombe’s administration has been characterized by a clear commitment to improving the quality of life for all Kitui residents, with a particular focus on healthcare, education, and road infrastructure. As these projects continue to bear fruit, the Governor’s development scorecard is increasingly being celebrated as a model of effective governance in the region.
With more projects slated for completion in the near future, the people of Kitui are looking forward to continued progress and a brighter future under Governor Malombe’s leadership.
