Kitui Hosts Intergovernmental Reforms Meeting

Kitui Deputy Governor Augustine Kanani hosted officers from the State Department for Devolution (SDD) on December 18, 2024, for a courtesy call meeting at the Governor’s office boardroom.

The delegation, led by Assistant Director Luther Chepkwonyi, included Senior Devolution Officer Daniel Miriti and Devolution Officer Judy Ajaka.

Deputy Governor Kanani highlighted the significance of intergovernmental reforms in fostering collaboration and coordination between national and county governments as well as among counties.

The meeting was attended by Kitui CECMs, Chief Officers, and senior county officials, underscoring the county’s commitment to enhancing devolution.
