In a firm statement regarding the ongoing debate surrounding the impeachment of Kitui County Governor, Yatta kwa Vonza Ward MCA Hon. Mark Ndingo has voiced his opposition, urging leaders and the public to focus on enhancing service delivery rather than pursuing impeachment.
Hon. Ndingo emphasized that impeaching the governor would not address pressing issues such as inadequate healthcare, poor road infrastructure, or other grievances affecting Kitui residents. Instead, he warned, such actions could lead to chaos, confusion, and divisions within the county.
“The impeachment of the governor is not a remedy for poor healthcare, poor roads, or any other grievance,” Ndingo stated. “It’s a precursor for chaos, confusion, and divisions. More focus should be on how to improve service delivery for Kitui residents.”
Ndingo’s comments reflect a growing concern among some local leaders that political maneuvering could undermine progress on key developmental challenges facing Kitui County.
He called for a collaborative approach to address the county’s needs, stressing the importance of working together to uplift living standards and improve public services.
Ndingo’s remarks highlight a desire among leaders for a shift in focus toward practical solutions that will benefit the people.
The statement by Hon. Ndingo resonates with many who believe that unity and effective governance are essential for meaningful development in Kitui County.
