In a statement to the Press, Hon. Mark Kitute Nding’o, the esteemed Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Yatta kwa Vonza in Kitui County, has criticized the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party for allegedly hijacking the Gen Z revolution to secure appointment deals with the government.
Hon. Kitute expressed his disappointment, stating that the ODM’s actions represent a betrayal not only to the Gen Zs but also to Kenyans at large. He emphasized the importance of genuine representation and warned against political manoeuvres that undermine the aspirations of the younger generation.
The MCA’s remarks come at a time when the political landscape in Kenya is witnessing increasing involvement from younger demographics, who are pushing for reforms and greater accountability. Hon. Kitute urged political parties to stay true to their commitments and work towards fulfilling the expectations of all Kenyans, particularly the youth who are eager for change.
As the nation observes the unfolding dynamics between political parties and emerging youth movements, Hon. Kitute’s comments highlight the growing tensions and the need for transparent and honest political engagement.
