Kyalo Muli Pleads with President William Ruto….

The Anzauni Clan of Ukambani, through their Patron, Augustus Kyalo Muli, has submitted a petition to President William Samoei Ruto, urging for increased representation of the Kamba community in Cabinet and Principal Secretary positions. The petition highlights the region’s vast socio-economic challenges, including water scarcity, poor infrastructure, and high poverty rates, which require urgent attention.

The clan also emphasized the need for the completion of stalled national projects, including the Thwake Multipurpose Dam, Umaa Dam, and key road networks like the Kibwezi-Kitui-Migwani-Mbondoni Road and the Mwingi-Kamuwongo-Tseikuru Road. These projects are deemed crucial for improving connectivity, reducing costs, and boosting economic growth in Ukambani.

The Anzauni Clan expressed optimism in President Ruto’s leadership, urging swift action to address the outlined concerns for the benefit of the region and the nation.
