MCA Mark Ndingo Joins Colleagues to Mark Historic Groundbreaking for Kitui County Assembly’s New Office Block

Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Ndingo joined his colleagues on Monday, September 9th, 2024, to mark a significant milestone for the Kitui County Assembly.

The County Assembly Service Board, led by Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya, officially handed over the construction site for a new seven-story office block to the contractor, Centurion Engineers and Builders Limited.
This project, first proposed in the 2018/2019 financial year, had its tender advertised in 2021 and was awarded in 2024. The office block is expected to take approximately two years to complete. It will house offices for all Honorable Members and staff, as well as other amenities, serving as a central hub for the Assembly’s operations.

The Speaker also called for political support, cooperation, and goodwill from the Executive Government, Assembly members, staff, and the people of Kitui to ensure the project’s success, noting it would be a shared achievement for all involved.
