In a heated exchange, Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna has sharply criticized Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa for his recent remarks about Wiper leader Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Barasa had claimed that he is more popular in Kenya than Kalonzo Musyoka. Speaking exclusively to TCD DIGITAL, Outstanding Wiper For Mwingi West MP Nguna called out Barasa for what he termed “verbal diarrhea” against the former Vice President.
Nguna warned Barasa, stating, “Kalonzo is not your equal. Keep off or I will re-circumcise you. It seems you never went through the proper Luhya cultural circumcision practice.” He accused Barasa of various misconducts, including the mismanagement of NG-CDF funds and falsely claiming to hold a higher military rank.
Further defending Kalonzo, Nguna described him as a respected figure in Kenya’s political landscape. “Kalonzo is a former Vice President, a man of Christian and family values, the least corrupt politician the country has ever seen, God-fearing, and a well-renowned diplomat internationally,” Nguna added.
This exchange highlights the growing tension within Kenyan political circles as leaders defend their positions and alliances. Kalonzo Musyoka, known for his diplomatic approach, has often been seen as a key figure in Kenyan politics, while Barasa’s remarks have sparked controversy and backlash from various quarters.
