Mwene Mavati Pays Ksh 422,000 Mortuary Fees for Needy Family

Former Kitui County Chief of Staff, Mr. Crispus Ileli, popularly known as “Mwene Mavati,” has come to the aid of a needy family by paying over Ksh 422,000 in mortuary fees at Kenyatta National Hospital.

The deceased relative’s body had been held in the mortuary for the past two months due to unpaid fees. Struggling to raise the necessary funds to release their loved one’s body, the family found relief when Mr. Ileli intervened. His generous contribution has allowed the family to transfer the body to Kitui, where they are now preparing for a burial ceremony scheduled for Saturday.
