Mwingi, Kitui – A family in Mwingi is making a heartfelt plea to well-wishers and local leaders for assistance in burying a loved one who has been in the mortuary for an extended period due to an overwhelming bill amounting to Ksh 3.4 million.
Mze Munywoki Musyoka, the bereaved husband, is appealing to the public for financial aid to settle the substantial hospital and mortuary fees at poplar hospital in Nairobi that have prevented him from laying his wife to rest. His wife passed away while receiving treatment in poplar Nairobi hospital , leaving behind a crushing financial burden.
“We are devastated and desperate. We just want to give my wife a proper burial, but the hospital and mortuary bills are too high for us to manage,” said Musyoka.
The family has reached a breaking point, unable to cope with the accumulating costs, and is now relying on the generosity of the community and the intervention of local leaders.
