The installation of Safaricom network masts in Kabati and Emuumba is set to enhance telecommunications in Kitui East, providing significant advantages in security and economic opportunities, according to local MP Nimrod Mbai.

MP Mbai, who visited the site of the ongoing construction, expressed gratitude towards Safaricom for their efforts to connect these regions. He noted that improved network coverage would allow residents to conduct business more efficiently and report any incidents of insecurity promptly to the police.
