A serious road accident occurred overnight in Kitui County when a 14-seater matatu traveling from Kilifi to Kitui lost control at Kwa Toma on the Kitui-Kibwezi road.
Several passengers sustained injuries and have been rushed to hospitals in Kitui and Mutomo for medical treatment. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
