Kitui Woman Representative Hon. Dr. Irene Kasalu has criticized President William Ruto for sidelining elected leaders in addressing the escalating insecurity in Kitui South.
Speaking during a live interview on Athiani FM Wednesday morning, Kasalu said leaders chosen by the people best understand the daily struggles of residents, yet the President continues to rely on government appointees “who have no clue how to solve the crisis.”
“Kitui cannot be ignored. Our people deserve security, not excuses,” she said, adding that it was time the government listened to the voices of local leaders to craft lasting solutions to insecurity challenges affecting the couty .
