Pastor Praise Yatta Kwa Vonza Hon Mark Ndingo development score card

Date:

A local pastor in Yatta Kwa Vonza has called on residents never to undermine their area Member of County Assembly (MCA), Hon. Mark Ndingo, for championing the establishment of a mortuary in the area.

Addressing congregants and local residents, the pastor acknowledged that death is not something people celebrate or take pride in, but emphasized that it is an unavoidable part of life. He noted that, whether people like it or not, death will always occur in society.

The cleric praised the mortuary project as a practical and humane development, saying it will ease the burden on families during times of loss. He pointed out that residents of Yatta Kwa Vonza will now have a nearby facility to preserve the bodies of their loved ones, instead of being forced to transport them over long distances to Kitui town.

According to the pastor, the facility is not a symbol of death, but a sign of progress and thoughtful leadership that addresses real community needs. He urged residents to support Hon. Ndingo’s development initiatives, arguing that leaders should be judged by the services they bring to the people, not by misconceptions.

The remarks come amid mixed reactions from some residents over the construction of the mortuary, with supporters insisting it is a long-overdue facility that will greatly benefit the community.
