NAIROBI – Wiper Patriotic Front Party Leader Dr. Kalonzo Musyoka has mourned the passing of Dr. Job Obwaka, a veteran gynaecologist and respected medical leader, describing him as a man of principle who devoted his life to advancing healthcare in Kenya.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Job Obwaka, a veteran gynaecologist and respected medical leader who devoted his life to advancing healthcare and strengthening Kenya’s medical institutions,” Dr. Musyoka said.
Dr. Kalonzo hailed the late doctor’s courage and integrity, noting that he never compromised on his values despite immense pressure and intimidation in recent times.
“He remained steadfast, ultimately enduring arrest and emergency medical distress after refusing to compromise his principles. That courage defines his legacy,” he stated.
He added that Dr. Obwaka will be remembered not only for the many lives he touched as a doctor, but also for the integrity and strength he upheld throughout his service.
“Kenya has lost a dedicated professional, a reformer, and a true patriot.”
