Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Makau Malombe on Friday commissioned the newly renovated and equipped Kasarani Dispensary in Kivou Ward, Mwingi Central Constituency, marking another milestone in the countyโs efforts to strengthen healthcare services. The event was attended by Mwingi Central parliamentary hopeful CPA John Makau, alongside county leaders and residents who welcomed the upgraded facility.
The dispensary has been renovated, equipped and prepared to offer improved healthcare services to the local community, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances in search of medical treatment. Governor Malombe said the investment reflects his administrationโs commitment to expanding access to quality and affordable healthcare across Kitui County under the countyโs development agenda.
CPA John Makau praised the county government for prioritizing healthcare infrastructure, noting that the improved facility will enhance service delivery and improve the wellbeing of residents in Kivou Ward and surrounding areas. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting development initiatives that improve the lives of the people of Mwingi Central. The commissioning ceremony took place on Friday, July 10, 2026.
