The Youth Patron of Kaiti Constituency yesterday spent time with his village mates in a grassroots engagement aimed at listening to their experiences and understanding the challenges affecting them.
During the one-on-one conversations, he interacted freely with residents, listened to their concerns and exchanged ideas on practical ways the community can work together to overcome the challenges facing them.
The engagement reflected a leadership style centred on personal interaction and staying connected with the people at the grassroots.
According to the Youth Patron, true leadership is not about titles or distance from the people, but about service, humility, faith and being willing to listen.
The conversations also provided an opportunity to strengthen the bond between the youth leadership and residents while exploring solutions that can contribute to the wellbeing and progress of the Kaiti community.
