KITUI EAST, August 17, 2026 — Kaliku Women Star Sacco (KWSS) marked a major milestone on Monday as it celebrated its 10th anniversary and launched the foundation stone for its planned bank office at the Kaliku ACC Office in Mutito/Kaliku Ward, Kitui East.

The anniversary celebration marked an important step in the Sacco’s journey as members and leaders laid the foundation for what is expected to become a key milestone in turning the organisation’s long-term vision into reality.

The occasion brought together several leaders, including Hon. Frida Makasi, Women Representative aspirant, Hon. Annastacia Mwathi, Hon. Bosco, Hon. Katunda and the Kaliku Assistant County Commissioner, among other guests

The leaders congratulated Kaliku Women Star Sacco on the achievement, with the foundation stone symbolising the beginning of a new chapter for the organisation. Members were encouraged to remain united and committed as the Sacco works towards achieving its vision.
