Machakos businessman Alex Musomba has received an endorsement from the Kee Business Community as he seeks to contest the Kaiti Parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election.
The endorsement followed an engagement with traders and members of the business community, who listened to Musomba’s manifesto and vision for the constituency.
Accepting the endorsement, Musomba said he was deeply honoured by the confidence placed in his candidature, describing the backing as a reflection of a shared desire for stronger economic opportunities and accountable leadership in Kaiti.

He said his agenda would focus on creating a business-friendly environment, supporting small-scale traders and entrepreneurs, and expanding opportunities for young people.
Musomba added that the endorsement represented the voice of local traders who, according to him, are seeking transformative and accountable leadership.
“I sincerely thank the Kee Business Community for believing in our agenda. I do not take this trust for granted. This is a win for every hustler, every mama mboga, and every young entrepreneur in Kaiti,” he said.
Musomba now joins the growing list of aspirants positioning themselves ahead of the 2027 Kaiti parliamentary contest, with economic empowerment and support for local businesses emerging as key themes in his campaign.
