A Day of Compassion, Service, and Community in Kitui South Dr. Stephen Mbaya Kimwele, the incoming Kitui Senator, dedicated his day to standing alongside families throughout Kitui South, sharing in their sorrow, honoring those who have served, and celebrating fresh starts. He was present at the burial of 18-year-old Vincent Mambo Kilonzo in Makongo Village, who sadly lost his life in a road accident at Kamuti. Dr. Mbaya also visited the family of the late Joyce Kavithe Matheka in Ndiku Village, Ikutha Ward. Joyce was a devoted farmer, teacher, mother, and a strong Christian, who tragically passed away in a road accident on Kasala Road. Later, he participated in a retirement and thanksgiving ceremony for Kikuvi Masika in Ikutha Town, before joining the families of Nzau Komu and Elizabeth Vaati Kakui for their dowry ceremony in Ngwate Village.
