Kitui County Assembly Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya is calling on the residents of Kitui County to look past political party lines when selecting their leaders in the upcoming 2027 General Election.
After a lively discussion with locals and leaders in Mwingi Central Constituency, Kinengo shared that the community, led by area MP Hon. Dr. Gideon Mulyungi and local MCAs, has made it clear that their voting decisions aren’t solely based on party loyalty.
Kinengo emphasized that voters are more concerned with the leadership qualities, track record, and the ability of candidates to genuinely serve and represent their needs.
He noted that the feedback from Mwingi Central should remind Kitui residents that true leadership hinges on an individual’s capability to deliver results, rather than just their political affiliation.
“I urge the people of Kitui County to back me in 2027 as their Senator, focusing on my qualifications rather than party politics,” Kinengo stated.
As political activities ramp up ahead of the 2027 General Election, Kinengo is gearing up for the Kitui Senate race.
