The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party has strongly condemned the disruption of its meeting in Nembure, Embu County, pointing fingers at those who allegedly rallied youths to incite violence and cause chaos during the event.

In a statement from UDA Deputy Party Leader Kithure Kindiki, the party expressed sorrow over the losses and damages incurred during the incident, urging law enforcement to take decisive action against those responsible for this political violence. Kindiki emphasized that political rivalry should be rooted in peaceful dialogue, not in aggression and intimidation.

The UDA leadership reiterated its commitment to issue-based politics, encouraging political figures to compete based on their achievements, policy ideas, and vision for Kenya’s future. Meanwhile, the party’s leadership in Embu has been assigned the task of assessing the reported damages and coordinating a supportive response for those affected by the unfortunate event.
