Kitui West UDA MP hopeful Benedict Muasya is set to host a development and empowerment forum targeting welfare groups on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Kathivo Primary School in Mutonga Kithumula Ward.
The event, scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m., will bring together leaders and residents for discussions on community empowerment, development, and the advancement of welfare groups.
The forum will be hosted by Commissioner Ben Muasya, the Mp hopeful for kitui west with Kitui South MP Rachael Nyamai serving as co-host.
Among the leaders expected to attend are Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai, Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna, Kitui Woman Representative Beth Syengo, State Department for Livestock Development Principal Secretary Jonathan Mueke, Kitui County Assembly Speaker Kinengo, and former Kitui Governor Peninah Malonza.
Other invited leaders include Musambi, Joe Mutambu, Martha Mati, John Kisangau, Paul Matuki, and Dr Moses Banda, who is listed as the event coordinator.
Residents and welfare groups have been invited to attend the forum and participate in conversations on community development and empowerment.
