Nyamai Steps Up Grassroots Engagement in Kanziko as UDA Delegation Meets Residents
Kitui South MP Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai on Sunday, September 27, 2026, continued her grassroots engagement in Kanziko Ward, where she hosted a Kitui County UDA delegation for discussions with residents and local leaders.
The engagement brought together community members and leaders to discuss development priorities and the progress of government programmes across the constituency.
Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Nyamai reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with residents and local leaders to ensure government programmes reach communities at the grassroots.
She highlighted education, infrastructure, water, youth empowerment, economic opportunities and social development among the key areas requiring continued attention.
The ongoing tarmacking of the Ikutha–Kanziko–Mutha Road was also highlighted as one of the major infrastructure projects expected to improve connectivity and support economic activity across the area.
Dr. Nyamai said continued collaboration between leaders, residents and government agencies would be important in addressing community priorities and supporting development in Kitui South.
