The family of the late veteran politician and Kamba political kingpin Mulu Mutisya has claimed that former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka fell out with his former political mentor in the final weeks of the elder statesman’s life.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Mulu Mutisya’s daughter, Rose Mulu, alleged that Kalonzo repeatedly ignored calls from her father, even when he was on his deathbed.
According to Rose, the late politician was deeply disappointed by what she described as Kalonzo’s failure to heed his calls. She further claimed that Mutisya made a stern pronouncement in his final days, declaring that Kalonzo would never become President of Kenya and would remain in the political wilderness for the rest of his life.
The claims have brought renewed attention to the long-standing political relationship between Mulu Mutisya and Kalonzo Musyoka.
