Campell Munyambu has Urged Kamba Leaders to Abandon President william Ruto and Unite Behind Kalonzo’s 2027 presidential Bid
Campbell Munyambu, the Coordinator for Mwingi Professionals, is urging leaders and residents of the Kamba community to unite in support of Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka as he sets his sights on the presidency for the 2027 General Election.
In an exclusive interview with TCD Digital, Munyambu emphasized that securing the presidency should be a top priority for the Kamba people. He believes that the national government has the capability to effectively serve all 47 county governments, Members of Parliament, and the millions of Kenyans across the nation.
Munyambu pointed out that a presidency under Kalonzo Musyoka could pave the way for tackling pressing issues such as unemployment, stalled development projects, and what he termed the unfair distribution of national resources.
He stressed that professionals and the youth shouldn’t have to depend solely on county governments and local offices for job opportunities and contracts. According to Munyambu, having a Kamba leader in the presidency would enhance access to opportunities and foster economic empowerment on a national scale.
“The presidency brings with it resources and authority that can address community needs like access to clean water, better roads, and the completion of delayed projects,” Munyambu stated, noting that these challenges have plagued many communities, including the Kamba, for years.
He also called on Kamba leaders currently aligned with President William Ruto to rethink their political stance and return to the community to back Kalonzo Musyoka’s presidential aspirations. Munyambu urged leaders to set aside personal ambitions and come together for what he described as a shared political goal as the 2027 elections approach.
“As we gear up for the 2027 elections, we must keep our eyes on the presidency. We need to aim for the top seat,” he concluded.
