Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o has received two major honours at the 9th Edition of the Africa Champions Awards International, earning recognition for his legislative performance and commitment to community service.
Nding’o was named Best Performing Member of County Assembly of the Year 2026 in Kenya and Champion in Community Service of the Year 2026 during the awards ceremony held at Argyle Hotel last night. The double recognition marks his second consecutive year of being honoured by the awards organisation.
Expressing his gratitude, the Yatta Kwa Vonza legislator said the achievement reflected the hard work and dedication required to make a difference in leadership. “Champions are not born. They work for it. Champions don’t show up to get everything they want, but they show up to give everything they have,” he stated.
The MCA described the double recognition as an honour, noting that it had strengthened his resolve to continue serving the people. His awards recognise his performance as a county legislator and his contribution to community service, two areas that remain central to his public leadership.
Nding’o’s latest achievement adds to his growing profile in county politics, with the two awards placing a spotlight on his leadership and community engagement in Yatta Kwa Vonza Ward. As he continues his work in the County Assembly, the recognition offers another milestone in his public service journey.
