Former UDA senatorial candidate for Kitui, Stephen Kilonzo alias Kitundumo, has officially joined the Wiper Democratic Movement as he sets his sights on the Kitui Central parliamentary seat.
Speaking during a burial in Kitui Central, Kitundumo also condemned the rising cases of extrajudicial killings, calling for justice and protection of peaceful protestors.
In 2022, I campaigned across kitui county, I have consulted alot of people and they have advised me to replace Dr Makali Mulu who has done a lot of job for kitui central and will be running for Governor seat in 2027.
The statement by Stephen Kilonzo is expected to shape the political space in kitui central.
