Kitui Woman Representative hopeful Fridah Makasi on Sunday continued her grassroots engagements with residents through church fellowships and youth empowerment forums in Kavisuni. Makasi first joined faithfuls for prayer services at Adullam Fellowship Christian Church and later at AIC Kavisuni, where she worshipped alongside congregants and church leaders from the two institutions.
Speaking during the church services, Makasi underscored the importance of faith, unity, and servant leadership in building stronger communities. She noted that prayer and togetherness remain vital in promoting peace, hope, and sustainable development across Kitui County. She also encouraged residents to remain united and supportive of one another despite the social and economic challenges facing many families.
Later in the day, the aspiring Woman Representative attended a church service at AIC Maliku before meeting an organized group of youths in Kavisuni. Discussions during the youth forum centered on entrepreneurship, opportunities for young people, and the need for active participation in community development. The youths shared their aspirations and concerns, while Makasi pledged to continue advocating for empowerment initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and future of the younger generation in Kitui County.
