Dr. Kyalo Munyithya Urges Youth to Register as Voters ahead of 2027

Dr. Kyalo Munyithya has urged young people from Mwingi, Kitui County, and the wider Ukambani region to actively participate in the ongoing mass voter registration drive organized by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). Speaking exclusively to TCD DIGITAL, Dr. Munyithya emphasized the importance of youth engagement in shaping Kenya’s political future.

Dr. Munyithya encouraged the youth to join the NIKO KADI movement, a civic initiative aimed at boosting voter registration among young people, and to ensure they are ready to participate in critical decision-making during the 2027 general elections. “Your voice matters. Register, stand up, and be counted, because the future of our county and nation depends on your active participation,” he said.

A celebrated scholar and banker, Dr. Munyithya’s life story is a testament to resilience and determination. From humble beginnings as a village boy, he rose to become a PhD holder, earning his Doctorate in Business Administration from the internationally acclaimed Paris School of Business in France on April 19, 2024. His educational journey has inspired many as an example of perseverance against the odds.

Currently a financial management specialist at the Eastern and South African Trade and Development Bank, the financial arm of COMESA, Dr. Munyithya continues to make significant strides in the banking sector. He urged Kenyans to embrace civic responsibility ahead of the 2027 elections, reminding everyone that active participation is the cornerstone of democracy.
