Kitui South MP Dr. Racheal Kaki Nyamai on Monday led a UDA empowerment and public engagement forum at Katutu Primary School in Kitui West Constituency. The event, hosted by Kitui West MP aspirant Commissioner Ben Muasya, brought together national and county leaders, party supporters, and residents to discuss development and the government’s agenda in the region.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Nyamai revealed that the National Government is implementing the tarmacking of 250 kilometres of roads across seven constituencies in Kitui County. She said Kitui West is expected to be included in the next phase of the road programme following ongoing lobbying efforts by the President’s development team, noting that the project will enhance connectivity and spur economic growth.

The forum attracted several prominent leaders, including Kitui Rural MP aspirant John Kisangau Mbaki, Kitui County Assembly Speaker Kevin Kinengo, Senator Beth Syengo, Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai, Principal Secretary Jonathan Mueke, Kitui Central MP aspirant Bonnie Musambi, alongside other UDA leaders and aspirants. Speakers at the event urged residents to remain united and support the government’s development agenda as preparations for the 2027 General Election gather momentum.
