Univision Sacco Chairman Rev. Munuve has assured members that the financial institution remains secure and that their savings and investments are safe.
Speaking amid concerns over suspicious online transactions detected on the Sacco’s platform, Rev. Munuve said the institution moved swiftly after the transactions were flagged.
He revealed that the Sacco is working closely with investigative agencies to establish how the suspicious transactions occurred, identify those responsible and ensure that the culprits are prosecuted.
Rev. Munuve emphasized that the Sacco remains financially stable and operational, urging members not to panic or lose confidence in the institution.
He called on members to continue trusting and supporting Univision Sacco, describing it as a home-grown financial institution committed to safeguarding members’ funds and serving their financial needs.
The chairman further assured members that the Sacco was taking the necessary measures to strengthen the security of its systems and protect members from potential financial fraud.
“Members should remain calm and continue trusting their home-grown Sacco. Their money is safe,” Munuve assured.
