Kitui South MP Dr. Racheal Kaki Nyamai on Saturday joined the family of Mike Kilonzo and Sharon Kasungwa Mike at Nguuni Village in Ikanga/Kyatune Ward to celebrate the life and contribution of Paul Kilonzo, Sharon’s brother.
Paul was honoured for his love, sacrifice and commitment in raising and educating Sharon, a contribution the family described as a lasting legacy that deserved recognition while he is still alive.
Speaking during the celebration, Dr. Nyamai commended the family for choosing to honour and appreciate a living legacy, urging the community to recognise people whose kindness, sacrifice and support have transformed the lives of others.
The celebration carried a heartfelt message: “Give people their flowers while they are alive — appreciate them while they can still receive them.”
Dr. Nyamai encouraged families and communities to embrace such moments of appreciation and celebrate those who have made meaningful contributions to the lives of others.
