Mbaki Steps Up Development Drive in Kitui Rural as Borehole Survey Begins

Development activities in Kwa Vonza have gained momentum following the commencement of a borehole survey by engineers from the National Irrigation Authority (NIA).

The engineers were introduced to the Kwa Vonza Development Committee, led by Area Chief Ronald Mbuvi, as preparations for the borehole project got underway.

According to Mbaki, discussions involving the contractor and community leaders have resulted in an agreement to have the borehole works completed within three weeks.

At the same time, heavy excavation works at Ngamyone Sports Stadium are progressing steadily, with the project expected to transform the facility and provide improved sporting infrastructure for residents.

Mbaki said the ongoing projects demonstrate the need for sustained investment in community development, expressing confidence that Ngamyone and the wider Kitui Rural Constituency will benefit from the initiatives.

“Ngamyone will not be the same again. Let’s transform Kitui Rural Constituency,” Mbaki said.
