A major milestone has been reached towards the establishment of offices for the Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA at the Lower Yatta Sub-County Administrative Headquarters in Kiusyani. County Assembly staff, together with Kitui Rural Sub-County Administrator Mr. Wambua and Ward Administrator Madam Mary, on Wednesday visited and assessed the identified site for the proposed offices.
The proposed facility is expected to provide the MCA with a dedicated working space and improve coordination between the ward leadership, county administration and residents. The initiative marks the beginning of efforts to establish better working conditions for the ward
representative while bringing services closer to the people.
Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o said the offices, once constructed, will enhance the efficiency of his office and improve service delivery to the community. He described the site visit as an important first step towards ensuring that residents of Yatta Kwa Vonza have a more accessible and effective channel for addressing their development and service-delivery needs.
