On the first day of the Kitui Agricultural Show and Trade Fair 2024, Acting County Secretary Agnes Mulewa visited the Ministry of Water and Irrigation’s stand at the Ithookwe Showgrounds. During her visit, Mulewa was briefed on the various projects, equipment, and operations undertaken by the Ministry.
Officers from the Ministry provided a detailed overview of their efforts to improve water access and irrigation systems in the county. They highlighted ongoing projects, demonstrated advanced equipment, and explained innovative strategies aimed at enhancing water management and agricultural productivity.
