Kitui South MP Dr. Racheal Nyamai has announced that the contentious issues surrounding the Finance Bill 2024/25 have been resolved.
Dr. Nyamai, a high-ranking member of parliament, expressed her gratitude to President William Ruto for convening the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group meeting at the State House today, the TCD digital reports.
Dr. Nyamai, a close ally of President Ruto, confirmed her intention to vote in favor of the bill. She emphasized the importance of the bill in enabling the president to secure necessary funds for government operations, underscoring that the government cannot function without tax revenues.
Addressing the current wave of demonstrations across the country, Dr. Nyamai described them as acts of lawlessness rather than legitimate protests. She called on Kenyans to support President Ruto, stressing the need for unity and cooperation to ensure effective governance.
