Ferdinard Muthui FM Appointed Acting CEO and Operations & Development Manager at VOX Radio

VOX Radio, the prominent radio station in the coastal region, has officially named Ferdinard Muthui, widely known as FM, as its new Operations and Development Manager. Alongside this crucial role, Muthui will also step into the position of Acting CEO, effective immediately.

Muthui brings with him a rich background in journalism and media management. His career began at Rware FM in Nyeri, where he served as a reporter, laying the foundation for what would become a distinguished career.

He later transitioned to Wikwatyo FM Radio where his talent and dedication led him through various roles, including news anchor, presenter, producer, and eventually, the Head of Operations. His time at Wikwatyo, which concluded in May 2020 amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, was marked by significant contributions to the station’s growth and success.

Following his departure from Wikwatyo, Muthui ventured into the world of private business, further sharpening his leadership and management skills. In February 2024, he joined an agrochemicals company in Nakuru, where he served in the PR and Communication department. Although his stint there was brief, lasting just five months, it was marked by significant achievements that paved the way for his current role at VOX Radio.

Located in Minjila town, Tana River County, VOX Radio is a key player in the coastal media landscape. Muthui’s dual roles as Operations and Development Manager and Acting CEO will see him steer the station’s strategic direction, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, expanding the station’s reach, and maintaining its status as a leading voice in the region.

In his first statement since taking on the new roles, Muthui expressed his enthusiasm and commitment to the future of VOX Radio. “Joining VOX Radio at this pivotal moment is both an honor and a challenge I eagerly embrace.
