Kitui County Woman Representative, Hon. Dr. Irene Kasalu, attended a divine service at the New Apostolic Church in Ngomeni, Mwingi North Constituency where she later handed over a house to a disabled woman.
Addressing the congregation, Dr. Kasalu lauded the church fraternity for their steadfast commitment to the betterment of both Kitui County and the nation.
She highlighted the crucial role faith-based institutions play in fostering unity and community development.”I sincerely thank the New Apostolic Church for always keeping the best interests of our county and country at heart. Your prayers and support for our communities make a tremendous difference,” she said.
Dr. Kasalu visited Kalanduli in Ngomeni Ward, where she officially handed over a house she constructed for a disabled woman in the area. The philanthropic gesture underscores her dedication to uplifting the lives of the vulnerable in society.
Speaking during the handover, Dr. Kasalu emphasized the importance of community-driven development and reiterated her commitment to addressing the needs of disadvantaged groups in Kitui County.”
