On. 21st November 2024 – Jordan Hospital Ltd., in collaboration with Maxivision Eye Clinic, has launched a three-day free eye medical camp at the hospital grounds in Kitui town. The event, running from 21st to 23rd November, is set to provide much-needed eye care services to the local community.
The medical camp, led by Dr. Nyenze of Maxivision Eye Clinic alongside other medical officers from Jordan Hospital, commenced today at 8:00 AM and is expected to attract over 600 people daily.
Services Offered:Free eye check-ups: Comprehensive eye screenings to identify and address vision problems.Free reading glasses: Provided to elderly patients to enhance their vision.Free frames: Distributed to students requiring corrective lenses.
Subsidized services: Cataract surgeries and essential eye drops available at reduced costs.Dr. Nyenze expressed optimism about the camp’s impact, stating, “This initiative aims to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial status, has access to quality eye care.
We are committed to restoring vision and improving lives.”Beneficiaries have lauded the initiative, with many describing it as a life-changing opportunity, particularly for elderly individuals and students.
