More than 35 groups in Kitui Central constituency have benefited from KSh 3.4 million in Uwezo Fund disbursements aimed at supporting youth, women, and persons living with disabilities (PWDs). The funds were issued today by Kitui County MP Hon. Dr. Irene Kasalu, alongside the team of Hon. Dr. Makali, at the CDF offices in Township Ward.

The Uwezo Fund, which is a revolving fund provided without interest, has been instrumental in empowering small businesses across the country. During the event, MP Kasalu emphasized the importance of supporting local entrepreneurs through accessible financial support and training to stimulate economic growth.
