Kitui Agriculture CEC Assures Residents of Improved 2025 Trade Fair

By YOANA KIMWELE

Kitui County Agriculture CEC, Mr. Kimwele Mbaya, has assured residents that the upcoming 2025 Kitui Agricultural Show and Trade Fair will be better than last year’s event.

Speaking to the press at his office, Mr. Mbaya encouraged farmers to adopt smart agricultural technologies to boost productivity.

Addressing the county’s recent performance contracting results, the CEC attributed challenges to delayed funding. “Our ministry heavily relies on development partners, but delays in receiving World Bank funds for over ten months in the Financial Year 2023/2024, hampered our plans,” he explained.
