In a step towards improving water accessibility in Kanyonyoo, Kwa Vonza Member of County Assembly (MCA) Hon. Mark Ndingo has officially handed over the project site for the solarization and pipeline extension of the Ndovoini borehole to the appointed contractor. This initiative is set to provide a sustainable water supply to the local community.
The project, which includes the installation of solar panels to power the borehole and the extension of water pipelines, aims to enhance water distribution efficiency in the region. Additionally, the construction of two raised water tanks is planned, ensuring a reliable water supply to households and local businesses.
During the handover ceremony, Hon. Ndingo emphasized the importance of the project in addressing the longstanding water challenges faced by the community. “This initiative is not just about providing water; it’s about empowering our community with a sustainable solution that will improve health and support economic activities,” he stated.
